Itinerary: Viseu de Sus - Valea Vaserului - Macarlau - Baile Borsa
Length of trip: 1 day, 6 hrs
We leave from the town of Viseu.
From Viseu we depart by steam powered train on the Vaser Valley, a land covered by woods, pierced by 60 km of narrow rail. The valley is one of the wildest and most spectacular in Romania and can only be visited by foot or by train. The locals call the steam train "Mocanitza". We arrive in Macarlau at 1 pm and then we proceed to Baia Borsa.
